What a Christmas Concert we had last night – All the children were just great!!!!! Most of the prizes have been collected. The money raised from both the calendar and the raffle is €2265, we would like to thank everyone for their help to make this such a great success and all your support during the year!!!

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and looking forward to seeing you all on the 7th January.

Cairdeas Coffee Morning

Last Sunday Cairdeas organised a very successful Coffee Morning in aid of  The Irish Cancer Society and €755 was raised on the morning.  We would like to thank all who made the cakes and those who supported the Coffee Morning and enjoyed the chat!!!

Shoebox Appeal A Great Success

We would like to thank all the children and parents for being so kind and generous in giving so many boxes for the Shoebox Appeal.

There was 113 boxes sent in and they have just left the school and on there way to children who will be so excited when they get them at Christmas!!!!!

School Self-Evaluation

For our School Self-Evaluation we have decided to focus on Spelling.  Teachers will be focusing on specific spelling rules from the ‘single word spelling test’ and pupils will be given spelling lists appropriate to their level.
